Sienna Miller

Sienna Miller

Sienna Miller famously introduced boho chic to the masses but a few years down the line and she's moved on, launched her own fashion label and grown into a sophisticated style icon.

Ugg boots and furry gillets are a decent enough fashion statement for an up and coming actress but Sienna's appearance on the red carpet at this year's Golden Globes showed the world that she had definitely embraced the glamour and luxury that comes with being a star.

The gorgeous gold and white full length gown she wore on the night was created by one of Sienna's favourite labels Marchesa. The metallic embellishment on the body of the dress was perfect for the red carpet and with her hair plaited across her head Sienna looked like the perfect Grecian princess.

Sienna seems to be enjoy casting off her boho stereotype and loves pushing the limits and having fun with fashion. During the promotional race for her film Factory Girl she hit headlines by appearing in what looked like a pair of black hold-you-in granny pants.

"Now I just don't care. I threw it all out the window wearing those big pants in public. That was an Edie Sedgwick thing. I thought copy that, you f****rs! And they did," she said refering to the outfit.

As well as dazzling floor length dresses, Sienna has also been showing of her perfect pins in some trendy mini cocktail dresses in recent months. The taffeta trend is set to take the high street by storm this autumn/winter but typically Sienna has got in there early.

She looks fab in pretty little strapless dresses with short but voluptuous skirts teamed with ankle strapped heels for the ultimate sweet and girly look.

It's not just the red carpet that has seen the transformation of Miss Miller. Her day time look has also matured. She's stepped out of her Ugg boots and into some funky pairs of chunky heels over the last 12 months.

Sienna is often seen sporting block heel ankle boots or high court shoes with skinny jeans and a plain t-shirt when she's nipping around London.

There's no denying that Sienna has always had the knack for accessorising. She loves a cool vintage scarf and always knows the value of carrying a huge big handbag. Whether it be a YSL Muse or a Balenciaga Weekender- Sienna always has the latest oversized bag under her arm.

Sienna's style is simple, easy-to-wear glamour. She treads the line between under-dressed and over the top effortlessly and always seems to get it right whatever the occasion,

The likes of Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss have been heckled as fashion icons but Sienna's natural ability to style herself is what makes us want to dress like her whether she wants us to or not.
