Sophie Dahl has sparked fresh fears over her health after being photographed at New York Fashion Week.

The 27 year old was pictured wearing a short skirt which showed off her new slim line figure. Dahl became famous for her womanly, hour glass figure after being discovered by Isabella Blow.

Her once voluptuous figure was shown in its full glory in a controversial advertising campaign for Yves Saint Laurent. The advert in 2000 showed Dahl naked and had to be withdrawn after hundreds of complaints.

Since then Dahl's figure has shrunk dramatically from a size 16 to a size eight.

She has denied reports that there is cause for concern; and recently showed off her figure in a fashion shoot for Monsoon clothing range.
