The New It Leggings

We've just about come to terms with wet look leggings and are even feeling brave enough to use them as a substitute for trousers, sequin legging, we can just about appreciate on our skinny friends but the latest style in leggings by Stella McCartney we just can't get our heads around.

We always thought the point of leggings was to hide your legs. You didn't have to bother fake tanning or shaving as your pins were hidden under the forgiving black fabric. That's why we can't get our heads round these see through leggings.

Perhaps Miss McCartney is embracing the spring/summer trend for flashing some flesh though with this transparent design. She does already have one fan as her dad's girlfriend Nancy Shevell has been spotted in a pair.

They don't look particularly comfortable to us though, more like thin plastic bags encasing your legs. Perhaps you think we're wrong though and would love to get your hands on a pair. Well we're afraid they'll set you back $1495, that's just over £1000. Ouch.

For a cheaper alternative we suggest wrapping your legs in cling film, covering them in Prit Stick and rolling around in a vat of glitter. Much cheaper and the same effect we're sure!
