Kate Moss

Step aside cape jackets and colour pop coats, faux fur coats are the hot new trend in winter warmers.

Pixie Geldof, Kate Moss and The X Factor's Diana Vickers have all been spotted wrapped in fur beauties, fake we hope, and if it's good enough for them it's good enough for us.

Fake fur coats are a great way to add a touch of 1950s style Hollywood glamour to your outfits. The coats are really versatile as they can look great over a party dress or skinny jeans and a top.

Every colour goes too If you want a classic look go for black or brown. For a more modern look try cream or if you want something different leopard print looks great.

Luckily the high street has caught onto this trend and the shops are awash with great faux fur coats. We've tracked down our favourites.

Left to Right: Brown coat, Miss Selfridge, £65; Black Coat, Star by Julien Macdonald; Cream coat, Boohoo, £15.
