The midi skirt has been making the fashion rounds for quite some time now, and it's not planning on stopping anytime soon.

This season we saw it on the runway at Topshop Unique, Eudon Choi and Louis Vuitton to name a few.

The midi skirt comes in different shapes too, fitted at Proenza Schouler, full at House of Holland and pencil at Victoria Beckham.

Keep the silhouette balanced with a full skirt and pair it with a fitted top or blouse, then add something a little thicker, like a fluffy jumper with a fittted shape or pencil skirt.

Heels mostly work best with midi skirts to help give extra height and stop you from looking too frumpy, but don't be too worried about wearing flats - we all know it's a must when we have plenty of running around to do.

We've picked out a few styles for you to shop now.
