We've picked out some dresses that are perfect for wedding guests

Dressing for a wedding can be a daunting task, especially if you're attending all day - you want to look nice whilst remaining comfortable - we have some styling tips to ensure you're looking and feeling your best.

If you're attending the wedding in the day and the evening it's obvious that you shouldn't be wearing a white dress - but we thought it important just to reiterate this.

Another high priority aspect to consider is the fit of the shoes and the dress, you don't want them to be too tight otherwise you'll feel restricted and you won't be able to feel your toes - and this could put a stop to your dancing abilities later on in the day. Nobody wants that to happen.

If you’re not bothered about wearing heels to add height, then a pair of flat sandals will work wonders with a maxi dress. It’ll hide the fact that you’re wearing flats and you’ll be able to dance into the wee hours of the morning.

Peplum dresses are also great for pulling you in at all the right places and hiding any unwanted lumps and bumps. The peplum waistband is a must for those who suffer bloating after they’ve eaten or drunk too many fizzy drinks.

Shift/swing dresses are a must for those who don’t want to highlight any part of their body too, other than their stunning legs. These dresses hide a multitude of sins and will ensure you feel comfortable and carefree all-day long.

On to the colour of the dress, it might be worthwhile finding out the colour of the bridesmaid’s gowns as you don’t want to look like their dysfunctional extra.

Black is classic and something you’ll find yourself wearing time and time again. We also love floral prints at weddings, something to ensure you stand out from the crowd, just keep the rest of the outfit simple and let the print do all of the talking.

We’ve picked out some beautiful pieces that will be ideal to wear to a wedding if you’re attending all day.
