Vibe Tickets has found that 31% of UK adults would give up sex if it meant that they could get a ticket to the Rugby World Cup.

It would seem that people will give up anything, including intimate time with their partner, if the result would be not having to pay tickets, which cost from £715- £100,000.

19% of couples would abstain from having sex for an entire month if it meant that they could go to the final. 5% of men would forget about sex for a year to have a seat on the side of the pitch.

The team is of course important- 15% of women would give up sex for their home team, whereas only one in ten would refrain from having it to see the final.

Luke Massie, CEO at Vibe Tickets says, "The UK has caught rugby fever and people want to be able to go to the matches, and see the teams they love. It's a shame that getting in is so hard. Fans are hampered by expensive, hard-to-get, tickets. If it was actually possible to get tickets by giving up sex, I imagine that there would be a lot of abstinence across the country!"
