A British 'Star Trek' fan who spent 100,000 turning his house into a replica Starship Enterprise is having to rip it out.
Tony Alleyne said he was ''gutted'' after being told by his wife Georgia - who he is divorcing - to get rid of the flight deck and computer console, which even contains flashing lights, because she wants to sell up.
He told The Sun newspaper: ''To say I'm gutted is an understatement. It is my life's work - and it looks like it's going into a skip. I admit there were tears.''
But Mrs. Alleyne - who owns the home and has paid the mortgage since they split - wants to sell it as a ''conventional property''.
