Idol Judge Jackson to Manage Mariah - Report
American Idol judge Randy Jackson is close to signing on as Mariah Carey's new manager, according to U.S. reports.
The celebrated session musician and talent finder is a longtime friend of Carey, and he has produced several of her singles and albums.
Jackson has also played bass in the singer's touring band and even appeared in her Bringin' On The Heartbreak video.
And now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, he is about to represent his friend in showbusiness.
The publication reports he recently accompanied Carey to the video shoot for her festive duet All I Want For Christmas is You with Justin Bieberand has been taking meetings at the Hero singer's record label offices.
