Ash are set to play their hit album '1977' in its entirety at a gig later this year.Brit rockers Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton and Rick McMurray - whose hits include 'Girl From Mars' and 'Jack Names The Planets' - will be performing at London's Roundhouse on September 5 this year.The album was released in 1996 and was the follow up to 1994's 'Trailer' EP, which they wrote while still at school.The trio - who returned as a three-piece following Charlotte Hatherley's departure in 2006 - are also set to play other hit songs and B-sides on the night. They are currently working on new tracks in New York which are due to be released early next year.Ash recently announced they were not planning any more albums but were concentrating on releasing new tracks as singles.
