Kensington and Chelsea recieve the UK's highest average weekly earnings, according to a Halifax bank survey.
The Boroughs average earnings are £1,252, almost five times that of Berwick-upon-Tweed residents, the local authority with the lowest incomes.
The survey underlines, the existence of a north-south wage divide, with the top 50 earning boroughs all in the South East.
Earnings are highest in London and the south east while the lowest earnings are in the north of England and the south west, say the Bank, and among the fifty local authorities with the lowest incomes, more than half were in the north east, north west and Wales though the cost of living does offset some of this difference.
