Nearly everyone loves Harley Davidson bikes. The soul of these machines runs far deeper than paint and chrome and while the look and sound just right feeling of a Harley can't be duplicated, that strain of motorcycle DNA thats uniquie to the Harley Davidson is continued in their 2005 year models.

The comapny may have been founded in 1903 but the bikes offer every protection a motorcyclist expects in 2005.

Eleven new colour options are available over the 2005 range including three new solid colours, two new Sunglo Pearl colours, and six new two-tone and three-tone combinations.

All 2005 Harley-Davidson models are equipped with new clear-lens reflector-optic headlights that offer increased lighting intensity and an enhanced light beam pattern. A small Bar & Shield cloisonné affixed to the lens of every new headlight places Harley-Davidson out front for 2005.

Two bold new Softail models bolster Harley-Davidson’s leadership position in the execution of custom styling. The FLSTNI Softail Deluxe and FLSTSCI Springer Classic both incorporate a host of nostalgic styling cues that blend seamlessly with the acclaimed performance and comfort of the Harley-Davidson Softail platform.

The Dyna Glide family changes with the introduction of the sparkling new FXDCI Super Glide Custom as the entry-level 1450cc Big Twin Harley-Davidson, replacing the FXDI Dyna Super Glide, retaining great value for money with enhanced chrome styling.

All 2005 Sportster models have a new, stiffer swingarm and larger diameter rear axle for improved handling.

A new vented lower fairing improves warm-weather riding comfort on the FLHTCUI Ultra Classic Electra Glide.

VRSC V-Rod models get more colour options for 2005. The VRSCB will be available in five colours, while the VRSCA model will be offered in nine colour choices, including four two-tone paint combinations.

The FXDWGI Dyna Wide Glide, FLSTNI Softail Deluxe and FLHRCI Road King Classic will feature a sleek new chrome Profile Laced-wire wheel. This wheel will also be available as an option on the FLHRI Road King.

A new dipstick design for all Softail models makes it possible to check the oil level with the motorcycle on its sidestand.
