Classic Motor Cars and London's Design Museum Launch celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Jaguar E-type

Original test driver and F1 world champion to launch anniversary year and drive Jaguar Heritage Trust E-type

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the car that Enzo Ferrari described as the most beautiful in the world, CMC, Classic Motor Cars of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, the UK's leading Jaguar Restoration Company, has joined with the Design Museum to put an example of the famous marque on display for a month.

The E-type's original test driver, Norman Dewis now in his 91st year, and the man who drove the car from Coventry via London to Geneva motor show will be on hand to launch the exhibition of the car with FI legend John Surtees, the only man to win World Championships on two wheels as well as four and one of the first people in the UK to purchase an E-type.
