Excitement This Summer

1 month ago 19th Jul 12:31

Suzuki (GB) PLC and Walt Disney Studios have created a unique partnership to celebrate fun and excitement for the release of Disney Pixar’s latest animated blockbuster WALL-E.

Written and directed by Academy Award Winner Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo), WALL-E transports moviegoers to a galaxy not so very far away for a new computer-animated cosmic comedy about a determined robot. After hundreds of years cleaning up the planet - WALL-E (short for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth Class) discovers a new purpose in life when he encounters a sleek search robot named EVE. When WALL-E follows EVE into space, they begin a journey across the galaxy and set into motion one of the most exciting and imaginative comedy adventures ever brought to the big screen.

As part of the partnership WALL-E is currently starring in advertising for the two Suzuki hero models - the Swift and the SX4, bringing to life the fun and excitement of the cars, creating his own ‘Time for a Swift exit’ situations and demonstrating the extra space capabilities of the SX4.

Suzuki dealers will be joining in the fun with WALL-E themed areas, giving away WALL-E goody bags and cinema tickets when you take a test drive of any new Suzuki at any participating dealer and by hosting their own promotional event this weekend, the 19th and 20th July.

Customers have the chance to win a WALL-E space themed family holiday to Florida including a trip to Kennedy Space Centre and the chance to see a shuttle launch. To enter, simply visit any Suzuki dealer to complete the entry form or go online at www.suzuki.co.uk/walle WALL-E opens at UK cinemas this Friday, July 18th. However, Suzuki very kindly invited a few select journalists with their children for a sneaky private viewing last Thursday.

Without giving the plot away, it is a must see film with even the children commenting on how we must recycle more and waste less. This is a film that really gets your thinking long term about envoimental issues facing our potentially doomed planet so whatever you do this summer, make a date to see WALL-E
