I discovered ICE only last week. Now before you think I have totally lost the plot it’s not the ice from the freezer but the ICE that stands for:

In Case of Emergency. Has anyone else heard of this?

Basically you input into your mobile phones under ICE an emergency contact number.

Then in the awful event you are involved in an accident or other emergency, the trained paramedics/police/ambulance crew whatever recover your phone and look immediately for an ICE number so they can quickly contact your chosen relative.

However, the person who showed me this actually had three ICE numbers in case one was out, unobtainable etc and I thought, "What a brilliant idea. I must advise my readers" and so I have.

Perhaps you can pass this onto to relatives looking after your children, the nanny au pair etc
