Watch Out - ThereS A Thief About

With only one week to go until Christmas, some of us may have been organised, finished all the Christmas shopping, even wrapped up the presents and put them under the newly decorated tree.
So this week for them, should be relatively calm apart from the dreaded food run whereby shoppers clamber over the last tube of marzipan, feel utter dismay when there is no stuffing left and totally heartbroken at the one remaining Brussel sprout.
Others have the pleasure of Christmas shopping to come. The roads will be clogged, the shops packed and queues to pay for Grannies hankies, running out of the door.
But the assistants will be smiling albeit through gritted teeth, carols blazing from the internal audio system, and generally, a happy cheerful exciting aura will abound the shopping centres. However, without wishing to put you off too much, I feel I must heed you a word of warning.
I actually did my Christmas shopping last Friday and being heavily laden, duly put my new purchases in the boot, locked the car up as I had more shopping to do. As I walked away, I noticed some unsavoury character loitering near my car and felt extremely nervous. My gut instinct took over, therefore I returned to my car, drove out of the car park and found, fortuitously, another place to park.
So be warned from the voice of experience. Christmas may be at time of good will for 99% of us, but for other odd 1%, a season of opportunity.
