Brandon Camp makes his directorial debut this week with romantic comedy Love Happens starring Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart.

Camp grew up in Dallas but was born and raised in the 'industry': his father, Joe Camp, created, wrote and directed the numerous Benji movies and television shows.

Camp has written scripts for Disney, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Warner Bros., among others, including the supernatural drama Dragonfly.

He continued to write and produce in television with show John Doe between 2002 and 2003. Dominic Purcell starred as John Doe, a man who seems to know everything but his own name helps police solve crimes as he searches for his identity.

By 2007 he had taken on an executive producer role on A Lawyer Walks Into A Bar... which was a documentary of lurid tale of lawsuits and lawyers and America's obsession with both.

But this week he makes the move into movie with Love Happens. When Dr Burke Ryan (Eckhart) self-help author arrives in Seattle to teach a sold-out seminar, he unexpectedly meets the one person who might finally be able to help him help himself.

Eloise Chandler (Aniston) has sworn off men and decided to focus on her floral business. However, when she meets Burke at the hotel where he's speaking, there is an instant attraction.

But will two people who have met the right person at exactly the wrong time be able to give love another chance?

He is currently producing his thriller script Choose and will next direct Relativity, for Walden Media and 20th Century Fox.

As a producer he also has North of Cheyenne and Steinbeck's Point of View in the pipeline, also writing and directing the latter.
