Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Ghost Rider may not have been a rip-roaring success when it was released back in 2007 but the new year sees Nicolas Cage return for the sequel.

Yes he is back as Johnny Blaze for a second bit of the cherry as Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor are in the director's chair this time around.

Second time around the movie looks bigger and badder than ever before as Cage is back kicking everyone's ass.

An strong cast has been assembled around Cage that includes Idris Elba, Ciaran Hinds and Anthony Head.

In the successor to the worldwide hit Ghost Rider, Johnny - still struggling with his curse as the devil’s bounty hunter - is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds).

At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy - and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is released 17th February.
