Looper

Looper

Joseph Gordon Levitt will have a busy few months ahead of his as Looper is just one of the projects on the horizon as well as The Dark Knight Rises and Premium Rush.

Levitt is one of the most exciting young actors around as he seems to be able to turn his hand to any genre and any role.

Looper sees him team up with movie veteran Bruce Willis while Rian Johnson is in the director's chair for the film.

This is the second movie where Levitt has teamed up with director Johnson after the success of Brick back in 2005.

The Brothers Bloom was the last big screen outing for the filmmaker as he has concentrated on TV projects in the last couple of years.

Looper sees Levitt and Willis play the same character from different eras and it a movie that mixes the future, time travel and coming face to face with your older self.

And as if Willis and Levitt together is not enough as Emily Blunt, Paul Dano and Jeff Daniels are all set to star.

In the futuristic action thriller "Looper," time travel will be invented but it will be illegal and only available on the black market.

When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a 'Looper' a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is waiting to mop up.

Joe is getting rich and life is good? until the day the mob decides to close the loop, sending back Joe's future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.

Looper is released 28th September
