Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan have enjoyed huge success in recent years to make them two of the most sought after actresses currently working in Hollywood.

Both of them have received Best Actress Academy Award nominations for their work and now they reunite, after working together on Pride & Prejudice, for new movie Never Let Me Go.

Directed by Mark Romanek the film is an adaptation of the popular Kazuo Ishiguro novel of the same name the movie also stars Andrew Garfield, who is soon to take on the role of Spiderman.

Kathy (Carey Mulligan), Tommy (Andrew Garfield) and Ruth (Keira Knightley) live in a world and a time that feel familiar to us, but are not quite like anything we know.

They spend their childhood at Hailsham, a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. When they leave the shelter of the school and the terrible truth of their fate is revealed to them, they must also confront the deep feelings of love, jealousy and betrayal that threaten to pull them apart.

Never Let Me Go is already surrounded in possible Oscar whispers, despite the fact that it is only September. The movie is released 14th January 2011.
