New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve

Now it might not have been to everyone's taste but I found Valentine's Day to be great way to spend an evening in the cinema as director Garry Marshall returned to comedy.

And he is set to do it all again with his new movie New Year's Eve, set for a Christmas release would you believe, as he brings together another huge cast of stars.

Yes it seems that some of the best in Hollywood have once again clambered to work with the Pretty Woman director as the cast list really is very impressive.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, Katherine Heigl, Zac Efron, Josh Duhamel, Hilary Swank and Michelle Pfeiffer are just some of the all star names that will be gracing the big screen Marshall even got Robert De Niro for crying out loud!

New Year’s Eve celebrates love, hope, forgiveness, second chances and fresh starts, in the intertwining stories of couples and singles, told amidst the pulse and promise of New York City on the most dazzling night of the year.

Yes OK so the formula behind the movie hasn't changed from Valentine's Day - but if you have got something that works why change it right?

It's good to see such light hearted movies gracing the big screen this winter - and I will be there to catch a glimpse of this one!

New Year's Eve is released 9th December
