One to Watch: Abigail Breslin

They pile into their rusted-out VW bus and head West on a three-day tragicomic journey filled with madcap surprises and leading up to Olive's big debut -- which will change the entire misfit family in ways they could never imagine.

The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to be a critical and commercial hit grossing over $100 million.

The film was nominated for four Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Original Screen play, Supporting Actor for Alan Arkin and Supporting Actress for Abigail.

Before her Little Miss Sunshine breakthrough the young actress had appeared in M. Night Shyamalan's Signs with Mel Gibson, Raising Helen and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement.

In 2007 she starred alongside Catherine Zeta Jones in No Reservations and Definitely Maybe with Ryan Reynolds.

Her newest movie Nim's Island sees her appear with Gerard Butler and Jodie Foster in the family friendly adventure picture.

Her next project sees her take on the role of Kit Kittredge in Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. She is currently filming My Sister's Keeper.
