The Ugly Truth

Uptight morning show producer Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl) and sexist television presenter Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler) are like chalk and cheese.

While Abby is looking for perfection in her man, Mike knows that blokes are only after one thing, and his brand of straight-talking relationship advice has sent ratings soaring through the roof.

When Abby meets her perfect man, Mike offers to help her. If she does exactly what he says, she'll get the guy - and he's willing to bet his job that he's right.

From teaching her how to flirt to telling her how to dress, Mike puts his mentor through a series of increasingly outrageous tests to prove his theory.

The problem is, Mike finds himself falling for Abby as she gets closer to landing her dream guy.
