Eight married college friends reuinte in Tyler Perry's Wht Did I Get married for their annual weeks holiday but instead of the fun they intended on having they all end up taking a closer look at their marriage.Best selling author Patricia and architect husband Gavin share a tragedy that's finally uncovered, Angela and Marcus argue constamtly but remain in love.Also at the reunion is sheila who has a distorted self image, linked with her weight, that is made worse by her adulterous husband. New additions to the group include Trina, Sheila's girlfriend, who is sleeping with her husband and Troy a stokbroker who put his career on hold to take care of his sick father.As secrets about their marriages are revelaed the couples begin to question the validity of their own.Why Did I Get Married is a big screen adaptation of Perry's hit stage play of the same name. And it will be the first time in front of the camera for Perry since Madea's Family Reunion in this his fourth film as director.
