When you reach the top five of the worst movies of the year you know the films are going to be pretty bad.

And The Bounty Hunter, which is in at number five, really is one of the worst movies that I, and anyone else who went to see it, had to endure this year.

Milo Boyd (Butler), a former cop turned bounty hunter, lands his dream assignment when he is hired to track down his ex-wife, reporter Nicole Hurly (Aniston).

He thinks it will be easy money, but he soon realizes that nothing is ever easy with him and Nicole.

They’re continually one-upping each other - until circumstances take a turn and they find themselves on the run together for their lives.

Sadly there is absolutely nothing positive to say about this movie it’s so unoriginal it’s unreal and everything about it feels fake and forced.

There may have been rumours that Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston were a little more than just co-stars but there is little chemistry between the pair and there was nothing believable about their relationship.

The movie is supposed to be a romantic comedy but there is nothing funny about this script and Butler looks very uncomfortable in this genre and you do have wonder whether he should just give the rom- coma wide berth.

Jennifer Aniston has demonstrated that she is an actress with comedic skill, she showed this episode in episode out in Friends, but you really do have to ask what she saw in this script when she saw it?

The Bounty Hunter is just full of stereotypes and clichés and Andy Tennant appears to have given the movie no direction at all.

This movie had all the potential to be a great addition to the genre but sadly The Bounty Hunter failed to deliver any of the promise from the trailer and is one that really should be missed!
