Saw 3D

Saw 3D

We have already taken a look at some of the movies that have been disappointing so far this year but the picture that languishes at number seven is just plain rubbish.

Hard to believe that Saw was released back in 2004 and this year saw the seventh movie hit the big screen, yes they have managed to drag seven movies out.

But this year it's all change as Saw comes to us in 3D is what is supposed to be the final movie and the final piece of the Jigsaw, forgive the pun!

The traps are bigger and better than ever before as a whole host of poor unsuspecting people die painful and horrific death as Jigsaw's plan finally becomes clear.

As a deadly battle rages over Jigsaw's brutal legacy, a group of Jigsaw survivors gathers to seek the support of self-help guru and fellow survivor Bobby Dagen, a man whose own dark secrets unleash a new wave of terror...

It’s fair to say that there is no originality left in this franchise, hard to believe that it has gone on for as long as it has, perhaps the only interesting death was that in the opening sequence.

And it was downhill from there as director Kevin Greutert churned out the same old rubbish that was have been watching these last half a dozen movies.

There is not doubt that the first movie was a little difference, with a great twist, but it should have been left at that.

Saw 3D is mediocre in every way there are characters that we don’t give a stuff about and a concept that is tired.

And to call this a 3D movie, and charge you for it, is a little bit of an insult as the 3D is barely there - and the effect brings absolutely nothing to the party.

The series ends on a whimper rather than a bang - and let’s hope that this is a jigsaw that will never be put back together again. Just a warning though with the way this movie was left there is potential for more,
