About Time

About Time

There are some great movies on the horizon this September, and one of the early ones not to miss comes in the form of About Time.

We have had a lack of romantic comedies over the summer but About Time is set to fill that void a rom-com meets science fiction for Richard Curtis’ latest directorial outing.

There is just over a week until the film hit’s the big screen, and we have some fantastic new clips from the movie for you to take a look at:

Richard Curtis has enjoyed an illustrious career as a writer, and he has once again penned the screenplay for this project.

However this will only be his third film in the director’s chair, and the first since The Boat That Rocked back in 2009.

Curtis has hinted that this could well be the last time that we see him in the director’s chair so we better enjoy it while it lasts.

We haven’t seen much of Rachel McAdams on the big screen so far this year, but she is set to take on the role of Mary in the film.

The actress is no stranger to a time travelling film having starred in The Time Traveller’s Wife, this time however she is set to team up with Domhnall Gleeson.

Gleeson has steadily been making a name for himself in recent years, but this is set to be the biggest role to date as eh takes on the role of Tim.

At the age of 21, Tim Lake (Gleeson) discovers he can travel in time...

The night after another unsatisfactory New Year party, Tim's father (Nighy) tells his son that the men in his family have always had the ability to travel through time.

Tim can't change history, but he can change what happens and has happened in his own life---so he decides to make his world a better place...by getting a girlfriend. Sadly, that turns out not to be as easy as you might think.

About Time looks set to be a funny, heart-warming as well as heart-breaking movie that sees a great cast bring a fascinating story to life.

About Time is released 4th September.
