Beauty and the Beast is already one of the 2017 movies that I am looking forward to the most... and the first teaser trailer for the film has been unveiled.

Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney movie and the studio is now set to deliver a live-action version of the animated classic.
The movie will follow in the footsteps of Maleficent, Cinderella, and The Jungle Book and - if the other movies are anything to go by - it promises to be a triumph.
The teaser trailer is here to whet your appetite but doesn't give very much away. Take a look:
Emma Watson is set to take on the central role of Belle in what is another huge role for the talented and popular actor.
Dan Stevens and Luke Evans will take on the roles of Beast and Gaston while Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, and Emma Thompson are onboard as Lumiere, Cogsworth, and Mrs. Potts.
Josh Gad, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Stanley Tucci, and Kevin Kline complete a very talented and exciting cast list. I really cannot wait to see them all come together to tell this well-known tale.
Bill Condon is in the director's chair for the film in what is his first feature since Mr. Holmes last year. He is no stranger to the blockbuster with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn already under his belt.
Disney's Beauty and the Beast is a live-action re-telling of the studio's animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.
Beauty and the Beast is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle's enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast's hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
This will be the first live-action film for Disney since the release of The Jungle Book, which has been a critical and commercial smash. So far, the movie has grossed $860 million and is one of the biggest films of 2016 so far.
Beauty and the Beast is released 17th March 2017.
