Jeremy Saulnier is one of the most exciting writers and filmmakers around and he is set to return to the director's chair this spring with his latest film Green Room.

Green Room

Green Room

Saulnier wowed critics and audiences back in 2014 with Blue Ruin and Green Room will be his first feature film since the massive critical success - I am thrilled to see him back and can't wait to see what he delivers this time around.

Green Room really is promising to be one of the 'must see' May movies and the fantastic new trailer for the film has arrived:

As well as being in the director's chair, Saulnier has also penned the film's screenplay and brought together an impressive cast.

Anton Yelchin is set to take on the central role of Pat and is joined on the cast list by Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole, Macon Blair, Callum Turner, and the terrific Patrick Stewart.

Saulnier worked with Macon Blair on Blue Ruin two years ago and it is great to see them reuniting for this new crime/thriller.

Down-on-their-luck punk rockers The Ain't Rights agree to a last-minute gig in a backwards Oregon roadhouse.

The gig soon takes a sinister turn as the band members stumble upon a grisly murder scene and find themselves targeted by a ruthless club owner and his associates, determined to eliminate all witnesses.

Green Room has already won over critics and audiences on the festival circuit and it one of the May movies that I truly looking forward to the most. It really does look like Saulnier is going to deliver another unmissable film gem.

Green Room is released 13th May.
