Will Smith is one of Hollywood's biggest stars and he is back on the big screen this February with his new film Concussion.

Concussion

Concussion sees Smith take on another real-life role as he plays Dr. Bennet Omalu, a pathologist who took on the NFL in a bid to protect football players in America.

The movie is based on the GQ expose piece Game Brian by Jeanne Marie and has been written and directed by Peter Landesman. This will be the first time that the filmmaker has teamed up with the Oscar-nominated actor.

You can see Smith in this great new clip from the film as Alec Baldwin warns him of what the future is going to hold if he takes on the NFL. Check it out:

A great cast has been assembled for the film, as Smith and Baldwin star alongside Albert Brooks, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Luke Wilson, and Stephen Moyer.

Concussion is only the second feature film of Landesman's directing career and comes three years after he made his debut with drama Parkland.

Concussion is a dramatic thriller based on the incredible true David vs. Goliath story of Dr. Bennet Omalu, the brilliant forensic neuropathologist who made the first discovery of CTE, a sports-related brain trauma, in a pro player and fought for the truth to be known.

Omalu's emotional quest puts him at dangerous odds with one of the most powerful - and beloved - institutions in the world.

2016 is going to be a great and successful year for Smith and Concussion is just one of the films that we are going to be seeing him star in. The actor is already in the Best Actor mix at the Golden Globes and I cannot wait to see him in action.

Concussion is released 12th February.
