Noah Baumbach is set to return to the director's chair next week for his new comedy Mistress America, a movie that sees him reunite with actress Greta Gerwig.

Mistress America

Baumbach and Gerwig have already worked together on Greenberg and Francis Ha and the director and actress have also teamed up to pen the screenplay as they return to the comedy genre.

We have already been treated to one Baumbach movie this year, which came in the form of While We're Young, and it is great to see him back as he is an incredibly exciting filmmaker.

There is just over a week to go until Mistress America hits the big screen and we have two great new clips to whet your appetite:

Gerwig is set to take on the role of Brooke, who takes soon to be stepsister Tracy - played by Lola Kirke - under her belt.

This is the first time that we have seen Gerwig on the big screen since Eden earlier this summer, while Kirke continues to make a name for herself with a major lead role.

Gerwig and Kirke are joined on the cast list by Heather Lind, Cindy Cheung, and Jasmine Cephas.

In Mistress America, Tracy (Kirke) is a lonely college freshman in New York, having neither the exciting university experience nor the glamorous metropolitan lifestyle she envisioned.

But when she is taken in by her soon-to-be stepsister, Brooke (Gerwig) - a resident of Times Square and adventurous gal about town - she is rescued from her disappointment and seduced by Brooke's alluringly mad schemes.

Mistress America is released 14th August.
