La La Land is a movie that is already being tipped as a potential Oscar contender... and the brand new teaser trailer has been unveiled.

The movie sees Ryan Gosling reunite with actress Emma Stone, they have previously worked together on Gangster Squad and Crazy, Stupid, Love. Personally, I cannot wait to see these two fine actors share the screen once again.

La La Land marks the return of Damien Chazelle to the director's chair for his first feature since the huge success of Whiplash. Whiplash went on to be nominated for the Best Picture Oscar... could Chazelle make it two films in a row? I guess we are going to have to wait and see.
As well as being in the director's chair Chazelle has also penned the film's screenplay and this is the third feature film of his directing career.
The movie sees Chazelle team up with Gosling and Stone for the first time while he reunites with J.K. Simmons; who went on to win the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance in Whiplash.
John Legend, Rosemarie DeWitt, Finn Wittrock, Callie Hernandez, Sonoya Mizuno, Jessica Rothe, Tom Everett Scott, and Josh Pence complete the impressive and very talented cast list.
La La Land tells the story of Mia (Stone), an aspiring actress, and Sebastian (Gosling), a dedicated jazz musician, who are struggling to make ends meet in a city known for crushing hopes and breaking hearts.
Set in modern day Los Angeles, this original musical about everyday life explores the joy and pain of pursuing your dreams.
La La Land is released in 2017.
