If you are looking for a summer film that is going to be action-packed, funny, with an array of terrific actors, then look no further than Ghostbusters - which looks set to be one of the biggest films of the year.

It has been many years since we have seen the Ghostbusters battling paranormal phenomena and now a new team has been assembled to carry on the task as Paul Feig returns to the director's chair for the first time since the success of Spy last summer. As well as being in the director's chair, Feig has also teamed up with Katie Dippold to pen the film's screenplay.
I have to admit, when it was announced that Ghostbusters was coming back, I was a little nervous as I was such a big fan of the first two movies. However, the movie does look like it is made in the spirit of the original and is going to be great fun. I also cannot wait to see the female lead cast in action.
Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig are set to reunite with each other for the first time since Bridesmaids; the movie will also see them team up with Feig once again. Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones complete the central line-up and they will take on the roles of Abby Yates, Erin Gilbert, Jillian Holtzmann, and Patty Tolan.

Chris Hemsworth is also on board in the 'secretary' role, while Charles Dance and Michael Kenneth Williams complete an exciting and very talented cast list.
Thirty years after the original film took the world by storm, Ghostbusters is back and fully rebooted for a new generation. Director Paul Feig combines all the paranormal fighting elements that made the original franchise so beloved with a cast of new characters, played by the funniest actors working today. Get ready to watch them save the world this summer!
Ghostbusters really is promising to be one of the biggest female driven movies of 2016, I cannot wait to see what Feig, and the cast deliver as they bring this great franchise to a new generation.
