If I Stay

If I Stay

If I Stay is the latest young adult novel to get the big screen treatment this week, as Chloe Grace Moretz is back in a leading role.

If I Stay, is a big screen adaptation of the novel of the same name by Gayle Forman. Shauna Cross has adapted the book into a screenplay, while R.J. Cutler is in the director's chair.

Cutler has made a name for himself on the small screen and with documentaries, but this will be his feature film debut.

If I Stay is set to hit the big screen at the end of the week, and we have some great new clips to whet your appetite:

Moretz takes on the central role of Mia Hall in the film, and is joined on the cast list by Mireille Enos, Jamie Blackley, Joshua Leonard, and Stacy Keach.

Mia Hall (Moretz) thought the hardest decision she would ever face would be whether to pursue her musical dreams at Juilliard or follow a different path to be with the love of her life, Adam (Blackley).

But what should have been a carefree family drive changes everything in an instant, and now her own life hangs in the balance.

Caught between life and death for one revealing day, Mia has only one decision left, which will not only decide her future but her ultimate fate.

We have seen a handful of young adult books adapted for the big screen this year, and If I Stay is one not to miss this autumn.

If I Stay is released 29th August.
