Jesse Eisenberg

Jesse Eisenberg

Jesse Eisenberg is one of the most exciting young talents in Hollywood at the moment and he already has an Oscar nomination under his belt.

He is set to return to the big screen this week as he leads and all star cast in Now You See Me, a film that sees him team up with director Louis Leterrier.

The first half of 2013 has been a little quiet for Eisenberg but Now You See Me kicks off a busy period for the actor.

Now You See Me sees Eisenberg team up with Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson, Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman - this is one of the best ensemble casts of the year - for what will be a mind-bending movie.

An FBI agent and an Interpol detective track a team of illusionists who pull off bank heists during their performances and reward their audiences with the money.

If you are getting a little tired of the big budget blockbusters this summer then look no further than Now You See Me as this crime/thriller promises to keep you guessing right until the very end.

Eisenberg will be back on the big screen later this year in The Double, as Richard Ayoade returns to the director's chair.

Ayoade make a splash with his debut Submarine back in 2011 and now he is back with his new comedy.

The movie is based on The Double by Fyodor Dostoyevsky and follows a man who is driven insane by the sight of his doppelganger.

Eisenberg is set to lead the cast while Mia Wasikowska, Gemma Chan, Wallace Shawn and Cathy Moriarty are all also on board.

The actor has also completed work on Night Moves, which sees him tackle the drama genre once more.

Kelly Reichardt is in the director's chair for the film that follows three environmentalists who plot to blow up a dam.

Alia Shawkat, Dakota Fanning and Peter Sarsgaard are all on board alongside Eisenberg.

The actor is currently working on Rio 2, a movie that will once again see him voice the character of Blu.

We were introduced to Blu for the first time back in 2011 as the movie went on to be a big box office success.

Carlos Saldanha is back in the director's chair while Anne Hathaway is also back as Jewel. Rodrigo Santoro, Leslie Mann and Jamie Foxx are also lending their voices to the movie.

And there are a couple of other projects in the pipeline for Eisenberg as he has also been linked with Midnight Sun and Louder Then Bombs.

Jesse Eisenberg is one of those actors who jumps around from genre to genre tackling different stories and characters and 2013 looks set to be another successful year for him.

Now You See Me is released 3rd July.
