Untouchable was a box office sensation back in 2012 and now directors Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano have reunited for their latest film project Samba.

Samba

Samba

Samba is a big screen adaptation of the Delphine Coulin novel and sees Nakache and Toledano team up with actor Omar Sy - who was also in Untouchable - once again.

Avengers: Age of Ultron looks set to dominate the UK box office again this weekend, but Samba could well be the film for you if you are looking for an alternative to the superhero action.

Nakache and Toledano have brought together a terrific cast list for Samba, as Sy is joined by Charlotte Gainsbourg, Tahar Rahim, and Izïa Higelin.

There is just a day to go before we see Sy and the directors back in action and we have a trio of great new clips to whet your appetite:

Samba (Sy) came to France 10 years ago from Senegal. He plugs away at various lowly jobs in a bid to stay under the radar and avoid the authorities. Alice (Gainsbourg) is a senior executive who has recently undergone a burnout, and seeks solace in charity work at the immigration centre. The pair meet when, in desperation, Samba seeks the charity's help to get the working papers that will allow him to stay in the country he now calls home.

Both struggling to improve their lives, fate draws them together and down an unlikely path that will change them both irreparably. Combining humour and heart, Samba and Alice's story is a touching, topical look at issues - both personal and within our society - but with a lightness and soul to melt even the hardest of hearts.

Samba is set to be a touching human story that explores some personal and society wide issues.

Samba is released 1st May.
