Steve Jobs is one of the most anticipated films of the autumn - it is already being tipped as a possible Oscar contender - and the brand new trailer for the film has arrived.

Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs

Jobs is one of the most figures in the technological world having been one of the founders of Apple. However, this brand new trailer shows that Jobs may not have been liked by everyone:

Michael Fassbender is set to take on the role of Jobs in the film and this could well be the performance that sees him in the Best Actor Oscar race when the nominations are announced early next year.

We love Fassbender here at FemaleFirst and this really does promise to be another terrific performance from the versatile actor. The movie sees him team up with Danny Boyle for the first time as the Brit returns to the director's chair.

Boyle is no stranger to Oscar glory with Best Director and Best Picture gongs for Slumdog Millionaire back in 2008 - this is Boyle's first movie since Trance two years ago.

A fantastic cast has been assembled for the film as Kate Winslet stars as Joanna Hoffman, former marketing chief of Macintosh, Seth Rogen will play co-founder of Apple Steve Wozniak, and Jeff Daniels stars as for Apple CEO John Sculley. Katherine Waterston and Michael Stuhlbarg are also on board.

Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.

Steve Jobs is one of the most anticipated films of 2015 and I really cannot wait to see Fassbender in action in this great role. We all know how much the Academy loves a biopic role, so don't be surprised if it is in the Oscar mix.

Autumn 2015 is going to be an exciting time if you are a film - there really are so many terrific looking films on the horizon - and Steve Jobs is promising to be one that is not to be missed.

Steve Jobs is released 13th November.
