Adam Sandler wanted to make a film he "can't get yelled at for".
The 'Don't Mess With The Zohan' actor says that having two young children has made him more aware of the material in his movies and he deliberately made the forthcoming 'Bedtime Stories' with a family audience in mind.
Kids end up seeing my movies anyway but some of the mothers get mad at me so I figured I'd make one that I can't get yelled at for
He said: "I've always wanted to do a family movie sometime in my life and now I have kids it made sense to get it done.

"I felt great doing this movie because I would come home at night and I'd be able to look at my kids, talk to my wife and feel comfortable about everything I was doing. I'd tell them stories from the set."
However, Adam says 'Funny People', which he is currently shooting, is off-limits as a topic of discussion in the home he shares with wife Jackie Titone and daughters Madison, two, and Sunny, one month.
He added: "I'm shooting it right now and I don't feel comfortable when I come home so I apologise to my kids and tell them, 'I'm sorry. Daddy had to say some bad stuff today.' "
