Alec Baldwin Pulls Out Of Rock Of Ages

Alec Baldwin has reportedly dropped out of movie musical Rock Of Ages

No reason has been given for his departure, but it comes following a long line of big-name sign ups for the project, including Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Malin Akerman, Paul Giamatti and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
 
Baldwin was set to play club owner Dennis Dupree in director Adam Shankman's adaptation of the hit stageshow.

Baldwin has not been seen on the big screen since he teamed up with Meryl Stree for It's complicated - but has enjoyed success on TV with 30 Rock.

However the actor has already completed work in AmeriQua and Hick and has Lucky Them and The Wrong Picture in the pipeline.
