Ali Lohan is set to bag her first major film role.The younger sister of 'Mean Girls' actress Lindsay has recently auditioned for a remake of classic 80s movie 'Troll'.Director Jon Carl Buechler - who also helmed the original 1986 film - says the 14-year-old is his first choice for the lead role of Eunice St. Clair.Jon said: "She was great. The camera loves her. She's a really good actress. I am personally going to fight for her. It's a retelling of the original story with some twists."Ali is currently starring in a US reality TV show, 'Living Lohan', which focuses on her mum Dina's attempts to make her a star.The movie follows a wicked troll king's attempt to restore his old world - when he was the husband of a friendly old witch - using an emerald ring. It starred Sonny Bono, Anne Lockhart, Noah Hathaway and Shelley Hack.Lindsay recently warned her younger sister to stay away from nightclubs if she wants to be a star.The 21-year-old - who completed a two-month stint in rehab last year for drink and drug problems - is keen for Ali to avoid all the pitfalls she endured.
She said: "I've urged her to keep her head on straight. She needs to stay away from clubs! But I wish her the best of luck."
