Angelina Jolie Defends Directorial Debut

Angelina Jolie has defended her directorial debut.

The movie follows a young rape victim who falls in love with her captor and this has been criticised by The Women Victims of War and its leader, Bakira Hasecic.

But Jolie has hit back and wants people to see her movie before reaching their judgement.

Speaking to Reuters the Oscar winner said: "There's one person who has a gripe.

"The absolute majority of the people, population, the cast, prime minister, president have been extremely supportive.

"My hope is that people will hold judgment until they have seen the film."

Angelina Jolie is back on the big screen next year as she teams up with Johnny Depp for the Tourist.
