Anne Hathaway and Jack Gyllenhaal are set to reunite for 'Love and Other Drugs'.

The Hollywood stars - who played husband and wife in the award-winning 2005 drama 'Brokeback Mountain' - are in negotiations to appear in the movie adaptation of Jamie Reidy's biography 'Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman'.

The bestselling novel is based on a string of memoirs written by Jamie during his time as a pharmaceutical representative in the 90s, which question the practices of the medicinal industry.

If they successfully sign on to the project, Jake will play the salesman and Anne will star as a woman with Parkinson's disease, who he meets through his work and consequentially falls in love with.

Ed Zwick will direct the drama - which was initially titled 'Pharma' - and the script has been adapted for the big screen by 'The Interpreter' screenwriter Charles Randolph.

Carla Hacken from Fox 2000 and New Regency's Kara Francis will oversee the project with producers Marshall Herskovitz and Scott Stuber.

Filming is due to start in the Autumn.
