Antonio Banderas Calls Woody Allen A Legend

Antonio Banderas has described filmmaker Woody Allen as a legend.

Banderas teams up with the Oscar winner for his latest movie You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger, which also stars Naomi Watts and Josh Brolin.

But the actor admits that he was nervous about working with the filmmaker.

In an interview with the Press Association the actor said: "One has to realise that in 1985 I was wearing a t-shirt with Woody Allen's face, with a little cap and his glasses.

"When I arrived at the set and saw him exactly the same way, I couldn't believe it. It was like working with a legend.

I went with some trepidation, because they have told me he was cold with actors, that he didn't tell them much.

"But for me he was a source of information. What I would do is go and ask him and the very moment I pressed that button, he would give me all the information I asked for.

You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger premiered at the Cannes film Festival.
