The stars and director of new Brit flick Attack The Block has been chatting to FILMLCUB about their new film, which is showing in UK cinemas now.

16-year-old Nathan - a Young Ambassador for the nationwide education charity - interviewed director/ screenwriter Joe Cornish (The Adam and Joe Show), stars Nick Frost (Paul, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead), Jodie Whittaker (The Kid, St Trinian’s, St Trinian’s 2: The Legend of Fritton’s Gold), Luke Treadway (Killing Bono, Clash of the Titans) and rising stars John Boyega, Franz Drameh, Alex Esmail, Simon Howard and Leon Jones about the film - which centres around a teen gang in South London defending their block of flats from an alien invasion - and about their favourite alien movies.

Nick Frost said; "The aliens in Close Encounters (Of the Third Kind).  That’s my favourite alien movie, my favourite sci-fi movie. I just like the fact that they are nice.

"They come down and do a weird handshake and we’re all friends and I kind of like that.  Although I say they’re nice but they give all those people back that they’ve abducted so I think they’re nice when it suits them!"

Jodie Whittaker told Nathan that her favourite alien movie was the 1980’s classic Mac And Me, with co-star Luke Treadway agreeing "I used to love that film! I used to watch that so many times. I haven’t thought of that since I was five!"
