Bill Murray said his success is down to being selfish.

The 'Fantastic Mr Fox' actor said he tends to please himself foremost and people then tend to "fall in" with what he thinks.

He said: "I think you get stuck when you try and meet other people's expectations. I don't know what everybody expects.

I'm not really interested. I don't know if I'll ever get married again.

"As they say, you can't please all the people all the time. So I find that the best thing to do is to please myself. If I'm happy with it, then a certain number of people seem to fall within Bill's happiness range."

Bill, 59, also admitted fame at an early age effected him.

He said: "I had success when I was fairly young, so that changed me a little bit. Fame affects you, but I hope it didn't change me too much. People say, 'Well, you're supposed to change. Ideally, you know, you could use a little changing, Bill.'

Earlier this year Bill - who divorced Jennifer Butler, the mother of his four children, last year - said he was happy being single and isn't interested in marrying again.

Bill said: "I'm not really interested. I don't know if I'll ever get married again."
