Bill Nighy Not In Pirates Of The Caribbean 4

Bill Nighy will not be in Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

The British actor is back on the big screen this week with his new movie Wild target, which sees him work alongside Emily Blunt and Rupert Grint.

But Nighy admits that the will not be reprising the role of Davey Jones in the fourth film in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Speaking to the Press Association he said: "I'm pretty sure I'm not in Pirates 4 as I would have got a call about it by now - I think they've got into the future and I'm dead.

"I'd like to be in Pirates 4, (but) I've done my time and it was a lovely experience. It's a really sweet job," he added.

But the actor admits that he did have is initial doubts about his role, which saw him do a lot of CGI work.

"It was very daunting at first because I was in grey computer pyjamas and everybody else got swashbuckling costumes. I had a skull cap with a white bobble on the top with white spots all over my face, which made me look like I had a skin condition," he recalled.

"It was lonely for the first couple of days, then they introduce you to Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, who I think is impossibly good-looking."
