Billy Bob Thornton Failed To Recognise Movie Son

Billy Bob Thornton had a strange first meeting with his new movie son - he failed to recognise the kid from his favourite TV commercial.
 
The actor thought he was just being approached by a young fan when Aedin Mincks first approached him on the set of Faster.
 
He recalls, "I didn't even know the kid. He came up to me when we first got there and he goes, 'Hey, I loved you in Bad News Bears.' I thanked him.

"I'm used to that from kids and you're always glad it's Bad News Bears and not Bad Santa!
 
"Then he said one of the weirdest and funniest things I ever heard anybody say to me on a set: 'Hey, do you watch the Capitol One commercials with those Vikings?'

"And I go, 'Yeah, I love those things; they're very funny.' He goes, 'You know the fat kid? That's me!'"
