Brad Pitt Did Megamind For Kids

Brad Pitt has revealed that he took on Megamind for his kids.

The Oscar nominated actor voices the character of Metro Man in the new animation movie alongside Will Ferrell, Jonah Hill and Tina Fey.

And the actor admits that it's animated movies that are a hit with his kids and that was a huge influence on taking on the film.

Speaking to the Associated Press the actor said: "This one is for my boys. We watch more animated movies than probably any family in this world."

"In fact, I couldn't tell you any contemporary movies that are going on now. I only know the animated films."

"It's Will Ferrell, who's a huge hit in my house. In fact, we want to get him to babysit.

It's been a busy year for the actor as he has already completed work on The Tree of Life, Moneyball and Happy Feet 2 in 3D, to which he lends his voice once again.

Megamind is released 3rd December.
