Brave has spent a second week at the top of the UK box office.

Brave is the latest movie from Pixar and is has not only struck a chord with critics but audiences as well as it grossed a further £2.3 million to comfortably hold off the competition.

Comedy Ted was up one place this week as it moved from three to two - the movie has taken in excess of £20 million in the UK and is one of the most successful comedy movies of the year.

The Bourne Legacy dropped just a single place to number three as it too a further £1.5 million in its second week of released.

The Dark Knight Rises moved back up the chart this week from five to four as it continues to pull in audiences.

Keith Lemon: The Film was the highest new entry inside the top ten this week as it opened at number five.

The Expendables 2 was the biggest faller this week as it dropped two places from four to six - but grossed a further £1 million.

The Three Stooges was new at seven while Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days was down just a single place at number eight.

Ice Age 4: Continental Drift was also down one at nine while The Imposter was the third and final new entry at number ten.
