Breaking Dawn - Part 1

Breaking Dawn - Part 1

There was no change at the top of the UK box office this week as The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 remained in the top spot.

The first part of the final instalment, which sees Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reprise the roles of Bella Swan & Edward Cullen, took a further £4.5 million to comfortably hold on.

There was also no change at number two as the very charming Arthur Christmas stayed put after taking £2.5 million over the weekend.

My Week With Marilyn was the highest new entry on the chart this week as it opened at number three.

The movie, which stars Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe, follows the actress as she shoots the Prince and the Showgirl with Lawrence Olivier.

There was a one place fall for The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn down at four while Immortals also fell a single place to round off the top five.

The bottom of the top ten was littered with new entries as 50/50 & Dream House were both new at six and seven.

In Time fell three places from five to eight while Desi Boyz and Moneyball were new at nine & ten.
